As a former New Jersey educator and former frontman of the "true school" Hip Hop Group, Channel Live, Green has been a multi-dimensional force in the music industry for nearly three decades.

Discovered by KRS-One, his group, Channel Live, debuted in 1994 with their platinum single Hip Hop anthem Mad Izm, followed by the gold-status album “Station Identification.” Their single Mad Izm would go on to debut at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart and peaked at 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1995.

Green's tree of life in the entertainment industry continued behind the scenes as an artist manager and consultant in the music and film industries. His consulting work with singer Carl Thomas and producer Mike City brought forth smash hits such as “I Wish I Never Met Her” and “Make it Alright” from Bad Boy Entertainment. He also served as an A&R consultant for the late Jeryl Busby’s Umbrella Entertainment and their 2007 release of Carl Thomas’ LP “So Much Better”. Green's creativity also took shape in visual form with Nas’ Hip Hop classic video “Got Yourself a Gun,” which helped Nas and Sony Music reach platinum sales. Green's other film projects include LL Cool J’s “Love You Better” and Nelly feat. Kelly Roland, “Dilemma.” He was also an associate producer for the 20th Anniversary release of “Scarface,” a movie documentary distributed by Universal Pictures in 2004.

In 2007 Green reunited with KRS-One to re-launch the "Stop the Violence Movement." This work has galvanized artists, educators, activists, and other community leaders to collectively say, “Stop the Violence." This slogan, to date, is still the rallying cry for organizations across the nation and around the world.

Now going on twelve years strong, 24HRSOFPEACE promotes HIP HOP’s true principles of "PEACE, LOVE, UNITY, and SAFELY HAVING FUN." A yearly tradition and staple in the Newark community, Green is looking to expand the 24HRSOFPEACE festival and its curriculum in 2022.
